The following lorebook is based on the cult game Space Station 13, a game I have many fond memories of.
Latest update: 06/10/2023
You can download the lorebook here.
Installing a lorebook is simple.
-SillyTavern: Press the book icon in the middle of the header bar. Under the World/Lore editor part, there is a button showing an arrow pointing into a file. Press that, and locate where you downloaded the JSON file. Then click the "Active World(s)" field, and select "Space Station 13".
-RisuAI: Press the menu button in the top left, and then the options button that appears below. Then go to "Global Lorebook" and press the button with an arrow pointing up inside a folder, and upload the lorebook from where you downloaded it.
It is not recommended to use the lorebook with RisuAI, as the lorebook is optimized for SillyTavern usage. RisuAI does not seem to have functionality for word-matching or token limits, so the lorebook may bloat your token count unecessarily. Neither VenusAI nor AgnAI seem to currently have lorebook functionality, but i'll probably update this section if they get it.
Unsuprisingly, it's diffcult to sum up SS13 in a few words. This causes the lorebook to be pretty token heavy. All of my SS13 bots come with a list of recommended constants, for those that want to minmax token usage. Fortunately for us, as models get bigger and context sizes grow larger and larger this will be of less concern to everyone.
All of my Space Station 13 cards can be found here.
If you are unable to use Claude or GPT, or are unable to set up the lorebook for some reason and still need your text-based space roleplaying fix, check out my Character.AI page. As far as I know, it's the one model out there that actually has been trained on SS13 content beyond a superficial level. CAI may not be the best, but it's better than nothing.
Now for the actual usage of the lorebook, remember that unless you're using a 30k+ context model and configured the lorebook to always read every entry the AI will never be able to have full awareness of SS13. I recommend you to set entries you want the AI to be mindful of to constant, and to experiment with your constants configuration.
As for SS13 cards, I alreadly linked my list of SS13 cards. As far as I know, I am the only one who makes them, at least on Chub and the Pygmalion booru. There are a few bots on CAI however, but for obvious reasons you can't use the lorebook with them. I doubt I'll ever make more SS13 bots, which is my I reccommend you to insert your own characters into the setting. The "SS13" entry in the lorebook tells the AI the roleplay is set in the SS13 universe, and should be kept constant always. So experiment and have some fun!
I also have this unlisted SS13 card. It's a simple "Simulator" type card that comes with a basic intro message, override prompt and override JB intended for Claude.
